Osteoporosis- Why proper posture is so important?

Many will wonder if there could be a fracture during pressured sneezing or coughing? Yes, people do experience that and this condition is termed as Osteoporosis, where their bones are tender and brittler. This is due to the body’s incompetence to absorb and replace the bone tissues from time-to-time so as to match up with the removal of older bone tissues. The convoluted condition is, there is no cure for Osteoporosis, but only treatment.

So how to get out of this maze?, where bones may break even if we sneeze!

You are now diagnosed with Osteoporosis and  your physician would have proposed Calcium, vitamin D supplements and other medications. But have they ever mentioned maintaining your body posture?. If not it is a mandatory physical fitness regime that you got to follow to maintain your body posture, where by doing so can even prevent spine fracture for osteoporosis for bearings.

Now, What to do to improve posture? And what not to!

  1. The first bull’s eye point is that ‘ALWAYS HAVE A SUPPORT FOR YOUR SPINE’. Osteoporosis people are more prone to spine fractures and while going to bed or while sitting it is advisable to have a support to keep the spine straight.
  1. Bending and twisting of the spine lies in the red zone where people with osteoporosis should never do that.
  1. A routine walk with stiff postures is the simplest and yet methodical means to maintain a good posture..
  1. Perform floor exercises to embrace muscular strength of the core, like legs, thigh and shoulders without pressuring your spine
  1. Train your spine so as to maintain a stiff posture always by performing weight training against the wall. It amplifies your nature and the way you carry the posture of your body making it stiff and straight.
  1. Never lift up things more than 5Kgs and don’t bend your spine while doing so

Osteoporosis is quite a battle as even a sudden reflex to sneezing or causing may cost you bone fracture. Never wonder if it is impossible to have a normal life with it. You can with proper body posture training and even at points mind training to avoid reacting to the reflexes for actions that involve bending your spine. Out of all these a proper medical follow up, from the right orthopedicians  with right supplements this will never outweigh the normality of your life, but will become a part of it.

Osteoporosis shows no symptoms but self-diagnosis will arise from frequent fracture history. If you experience so consult an orthopedician immediately and if you are chennaite with this issue definitely consult @ https://drkumarshospital.com/orthopaedics/ to have leading orthopedicians by your side to walk you through.
